Advanced Certification 2021 - Advanced Insolvency

Delivery: The UTS component is delivered via distance education. ARITA workshops are offered face-to-face or online via electronic classroom.
Delivered in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney, this subject ensures a solid understanding of Australia’s formal insolvency regime for both corporates and individuals as well as building an understanding of the complicated issue of insolvency and trusts.
Advanced Insolvency is an elective subject in ARITA’s Advanced Certification. This subject will meet the specialist insolvency education requirements to become a registered liquidator or registered trustee.
Prerequisites
You must satisfy at least one of the below prerequisites to enrol in this subject:
Fundamentals of Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround
If you’ve completed the Insolvency Education Program (IEP) you will be deemed to have passed both Fundamentals of Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround and Advanced Insolvency subjects. You can enrol in this subject as a refresher.
Note: There is no time limit for recognition of prior completion of the IEP if you can show continuing professional development in insolvency, restructuring or turnaround in the intervening period.
If you’ve obtained ARITA professional membership without completing the IEP and remain as a Professional Member, you are deemed to have fulfilled the prerequisites for this subject. Any deemed satisfaction of pre-requisite requirements by ARITA is not binding on UTS in respect of any further studies.
Course delivery & time commitment
The course is structured as distance education in order to ensure that it is accessible to all students, no matter where they are located.
ARITA will run three workshops as part of the Advanced Insolvency subject. Workshops are offered face-to-face as well as online via electronic classroom.
You should allow 10-12 hours per week to complete the subject requirements. This subject runs for 12 weeks plus a one-week mid-session break and a one-week study break.

2021: $3,624.50 (incl. GST)
You must be a 2021 ARITA Student subscriber to enrol for this subject.

Enroling is a two-step process:
You commence your enrolment in the ARITA Learning Centre
You will then receive an email containing a link to complete your enrolment on the UTS website.
Please note:
- ARITA Subscription/Membership is a pre-requisite for this course.
- While completion of the ARITA Advanced Certification is a pre-requisite for ARITA Professional Membership, completion by itself does not guarantee you will be accepted as an ARITA Professional Member at any time in the future
